Welcome to www.tunanews.org. "Tuna News" provides the latest news and developments on tuna including bluefin, yellowfin, bigeye and albacore tunas. The site automatically tracks the news from thousands of sources around the web including popular news magazines and newspapers, news wires, professional societies, trade magazines, professional journal articles, university web pages, blogs, etc. The site uses artificial intelligence to automatically: crawl, rank, cluster, and categorize articles. The site allows me to feature daily articles, publish my own news articles on domestic and international tuna management, conservation and science issues, and for users to post and share comments on articles.
Changes to the regulations and other domestic and international tuna news will be covered. Our objective is to make "Tuna News" the most authoritative source for reliable information on the fishery and worldwide events effecting our tuna fisheries. Tuna News subscribers will no longer have to deal with the tuna rumors continuously floating around the docks!!
The site also provides occasional pictures of tunas including aerial photos and fishery picture action shots. Coming soon is a gallery of aerial marine life photos (schools of giant bluefins, whales, etc) photos taken over the last 20 years.
